There are hundreds of fairy tales, and each has many, many retellings. There's no way I could list them all here, so I'll just list a few of the lesser-known ones that I know all of you will love.

NUMBER 1: The HAGENHEIM SERIES // MELANIE DICKERSON

This series of (now 7, 2 not pictured) books tells the stories of many of our favorite fairy tales in a medieval setting. They include elements of each without drawing everything from the story, and all are fast, interesting reads. Though they are all connected in some way as companion novels, you don't have to read them in order, so click the image to see all 7 to choose from.

NUMBER 2: A LONG, LONG SLEEP // ANNA SHEEHAN

This futuristic take on Sleeping Beauty is one of my go-to recommendations when people are looking for a fun new fairy tale spin. I know you'll love it, too. Click the image to request it from KHCPL.

NUMBER 3: DOROTHY MUST DIE // DANIELLE PAIGE

This darker take on The Wizard of Oz has fans of the classic raving! Dorothy's power has gone to her head, so it's up to a new girl from Kansas to take her down! Click the cover and you can read it for yoursrelf.
